• Recipe searches are NOT tracked or stored

What We MAY Collect:

• Basic app usage analytics (crash reports, performance metrics)
• Device information for compatibility and optimization
• If you contact support, your email and support messages

2. How CookLens Works

CookLens processes your photos locally on your device using on-device AI:

• Photos are analyzed directly on your iPhone/iPad
• Ingredient recognition happens locally using Core ML
• Recipe suggestions are generated on-device
• No images leave your device unless you explicitly save or share them

3. Data Storage

Your data stays on your device:

• Saved recipes are stored locally in your device's storage
• App preferences and settings are stored locally
• No personal data is transmitted to external servers
• Data is backed up only through your device's backup system (iCloud)

4. Third-Party Services

CookLens may use these Apple services:

• Core ML for on-device machine learning
• CloudKit for syncing data between your devices (if enabled)
• App Store for app distribution and updates

These services are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Children's Privacy

CookLens does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The app is designed to be safe for all ages and processes all data locally on the device.
